Seven Pools
Along with an ideal climate Maui offers a variety of spectacular natural wonders. World-famous beaches, lush Iao Valley, Haleakala volcano, Molokini crater, pastoral Upcountry, the tropical Hana coast and the Seven Pools are just a few of the memorable sights you can visit during your stay at Maui Kamaole.
Sports enthusiasts will find opportunities for a game of golf on one of its 15 beautifully manicured courses where tee times are easily available. Tennis, windsurfing, surfing, scuba, snorkeling, diving, biking, hiking, and deep sea fishing are all nearby. Private charter boats for scuba diving, snorkeling, and water adventures are just a short 5 minute walk from the condo.
Haleakala
For the nature enthusiast, Maui has breathtaking hiking trails and the Hawaii Nature Center in Iao Valley is a good starting place. The rangers at Haleakala National Park lead free nature walks, both at the 10,000 foot summit of Maui's awe-inspiring, long-dormant volcano and at Oheo Gulch with its famous Seven Pools. One of the best ways to experience Upcountry Maui is on horseback where the green pastures and sweeping vistas will remind you of range land in Wyoming.
You can discover the fascinating artifacts of Maui's ancient culture at the Bailey House Museum or explore the island's heiau ruins (Hawaiian religious temples). And don't miss the performance of hula hahiko (ancient hula) by one of Maui's hula halau (hula schools).
There are 42 miles of world famous beaches, ranging from the little jewel of Red Sand Beach to the black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park near Hana.
Other popular activities include shopping in the old whaling port of Lahaina, whale watching, checking out the fabulous resorts of Wailea (just 5 minutes away) and Kaanapali and dining in one of Maui's many fine restaurants.
Snorkeling, whale watching, kayaking, diving, surfing, boogie boarding, jet skiing, windsurfing, fishing, boating, sailing, shopping, restaurants, cinemas, museums, and sightseeing are all close by and the concierge desk will be delighted to assist you with arrangements.
